Hornery & Associates Consulting Pty Ltd specialises in public sector governance and the process of community consultation particularly where projects have a significant environmental or social impact. The Company draws on almost 40 years of local government experience in management and engineering as the platform for understanding that building community capacity is vital to achieve sustainable economic development. Understanding how governments can manage that process is a strength of the Company.

With a background in engineering, planning and management, we are able to undertake reviews and evaluation of projects, particularly from a governance aspect of administration and sustainable infrastructure.

Achieving practical solutions through the proactive management of your stakeholder impacts

The Company Principal, Ray Hornery completed his contract as the General Manager of Blayney Shire Council in the Central Tablelands of New South Wales in 2003. His background is in engineering and planning, having spent 42 years as a public servant, 39 of those years in local government. He moved to Blayney in 1978 as the Shire Engineer and Planner retaining that position for 16 years.
